If you let us know your “make me sell” number, our team will enter that number in our private Compass database, visible only to us. For now, we just keep that information on record in case we find a buyer looking for that type of property. 

But, here’s where it gets a little more exciting! Our tech team at Compass is almost ready to launch technology that will allow Compass agents to search for properties with Make Me Sell prices across other Compass agents and their clients. The address, name, and contact information will never be visible! Only your agent who entered the Make Me Sell price will be able to see it. 

WILL MY PRICE, NAME OR INFORMATION BE VISIBLE ANYWHERE?

No. If a buyer agent sees a match for a certain neighborhood, number of beds/baths, type of property and price, they would see a reference number for the house and can contact us regarding their interest. Everything is very discreet and private. We would then approach you to see if you had interest in showing your home, or not. No pressure! 

HOW DOES THE DATABASE WORK?

Imagine I have a buyer looking for a 3 bedroom home in San Francisco. Currently, they will see the following:

  • All 3 bedroom townhouse properties active on the public market
  • All 3 bedroom townhouse properties that are Compass Private Exclusives (off MLS)

However, with the Make Me Sell database, they will also be able to see listings in my Make Me Sell network who own a 3 bedroom home in San Francisco. Your name and address will not be disclosed for confidentiality. Instead, they will have a client reference number to inquire to me as to whether you would be open to selling. I would approach you with the inquiry and together we would determine if it could be a good match.
